[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TLDR: too greasy for daily use, incredible results when used as a topical medication for inflammation/hair loss/itching/burning. I had a serious inflammatory stress response to ..life? During 2020 and it resulted in my scalp feeling like it had ants on fire crawling all over it every night and every time I got stressed. It burned and it itched and was falling out in clumps but there was NOTHING medically wrong. There was nothing my doctor could do to help. I went and saw my stylist for a bang trim and I mentioned this issue. She let me take home a bottle of this because when it was applied it felt like aloe on a sunburn. It was immediate relief. Every night when my scalp would start to hurt I would just apply this and gently rub and let it soak in. I have thick hair but I used a lot and yes, it made it look a little greasy, and because of this I really only use it when I notice my scalp start to burn. Since using this on an as needed basis for this issue my hair has stopped falling out, and my scalp has stopped burning and itching. When I apply it and I’m not having inflammation it just feels like a regular product, it’s only with the inflammation that it feels like aloe. It’s just incredible, I’ll never bother with the medicated foams and shampoos for this problem again. Also, my stylist gave this to me out of sympathy back in 2020 and I still have some left in the bottle. A little goes a LONG way.

a little disappointing

I ended up returning this product, I love the idea of it but it has a terrible chemical smell and it left my roots looking really oily. I have naturally oily hair so it’s possible that it just didn’t work for my hair type. My scalp wasn’t irritated or dry at all when I was using it but I couldn’t get passed the smell and the way it made my hair look
