I Like it!

After trying a sample of the oil I decided to purchase it. I decided on this set because it seemed like a no-brainer since girl math makes more sense to get this instead of the oil alone. I already had the full-sized leave-in conditioner and the texture spray which I absolutely love. This is the only oil I’ve used that hasn’t weighed my hair down or caused breakage. Since I’m of the clear complexion peoples, I’ve accepted that oils on the hair always leads to damage or buildup and subsequent porosity issues. So I do a super fast and really light clarifying on wash days to ensure there’s no oil left behind. I only use 2 drops on wet hair and that seems to get me the desired results. I have regular thickness wavy hair that’s well past the middle of my back. It’s in a transitional phase where it randomly decided it’s going to grow in curly (aging is so awesome, you guys are gonna love it 😭). So I’m trying to cater to multiple textures of hair right now and it’s not very enjoyable. My grey hair is mad coarse and an easy 3C curl pattern whereas my natural hair is blonde and bouncing around the 2’s for waves. The texture is mixed. The leave-in conditioner works for all of my various textures and doesn’t take much. I mix about 4-5 sprays with 1/2 pump of the Olaplex smoothing stuff. That combo keeps my hair soft and tangle free all day. I’ve only used the mask once but did enjoy it enough to buy the larger size, though I’ll likely buy direct from Gisou on their next discount code deal. I’m a sucker for aesthetically pleasing packaging and that’s really the only reason I bought this stuff. I don’t even like the smell of honey. I’ve had to force myself to tolerate it. I do like all of the products enough to keep buying them but the texture spray is the best I’ve used. It seems to be sold out so I can’t review it so I’ll tell you about it here.
