It was great until it wasn't

I loved this product. It would sting strongly and plump my lips nicely. However, after a few months of using it, I seem to have developed a sensitivity to using it. I put it on to go out yesterday, and it stung more than usual but eventually went away. This morning, I woke up and have pretty bad irriation on my lips and upper lip area. My upper lip/moustache area almost feels as if I have a sunburn there even though I wasn't in the sun yesterday. It is very dry and itchy. I did a swatch test on my hand today, and the area is now inflamed, and I've developed hives near the inflamed area. It's a good product and does plump nicely, but if you have sensitive skin, I would be careful with this. It's a shame I can't wear it anymore because it used to be my fav lip plumper.

Worked really well!

I tried this today and I at first didn’t feel anything but around 1 minute I felt tingling and just a bit of burning. After about 2 minutes my lips were more plumped and were a bit red. This is definitely good for plumping and is great to apply before lipstick or lip liner.
