Comedogenic?

I gave this product a try, thinking it would be a comparable and much cheaper alternative to the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench moisturizer I’ve used for years. Conceptually they are similar products. But this product consistently caused congestion in my inner cheeks. I don’t have oily or even combination skin, my T-zone is as normal as the rest of my face. Looking at the ingredients, both glycerin and squalene are at the very top of the list. Those are heavy duty humectants by themselves, so the fact that they are both included at high concentrations makes me wonder if this product is too heavy for even normal skin types. Bummer, as I like the glow it leaves on my skin and it does an amazing job plumping up my fine lines. One other thing I’ll mention: this is a heavily fragranced product. It reminds me of fabric softener, that “clean laundry” chemical-y smell. There’s no mention of fragrance in the ingredient list, but there’s also nothing in the ingredient list that would cause such a heavy perfume scent. Not only do I not like the scent, but I question the brand’s integrity if they’re not disclosing something so obvious.

Love how hydrating it is.

I got this as a sample and it's so hydrating and makes my skin smooth and bouncy. It has a light scent that doesn't bother me despite having sensitive skin. It also works well under makeup. It's a bit expensive but I think it's worth it and am buying the full size.
