Previous formulation was MUCH better for oil control.
This is a great primer BUT for someone with very oily skin the previous formulation was quite literally a MIRACLE for me. It worked alllllll day and didn’t cause breakouts. The new formulation, while still way better than others, is no where near as good at keep the oil at bay. I’m now still a relatively greasy mess by the end of the day. So now I spend my time hunting down old bottles of the old formula.

I really like this Pure Primer
I don't think I have huge pore, but I did notice how light this primer was, on how smoothly I was able to apply my hydrating tint, which is also a Laura Mercier product. I appreciated how my skin looked afterward. I am not certain, that it blurred any problem areas, but it's a nice light addition to my makeup regimen. I didn't not notice any dryness, or cracks where the product sat. I appreciated my overall look. I rec'd this product in return for my honest review.
