Clean Skin Cleansing Balm Cleanses + Refines Skin Texture

All my eye makeup was removed so quickly!

I was recently given the opportunity to try the Clean skin Cleansing Balm in return for my honest opinion. This is a brand new product from the Sephora collection. I have always liked cleansing balms and was ready to try this one. I have sensitive skin so I decided to remove my eye makeup on one eye. I liked how the balm felt. I warmed it in my fingers then applied the oily texture to my eye. It immediately started to dissolve my eye makeup so easily. I then rinsed my eye and dried my eye area. Nothing left all the eye makeup was removed. I can honestly say that this cleansing balms performs well and dissolves makeup quickly. Unfortunately, due to my sensitivities, I broke out with a small rash by my eye area. This is a good product but not a good fit for me.

Easy to use, works well, a little goes a long way.

As someone who wears a fair bit of makeup—think full-coverage foundation, waterproof mascara, and the odd bold lip—I need something reliable to take it all off without a fuss. This balm absolutely delivers. It’s got a lovely, smooth texture that melts into an oil as you massage it in, making light work of even the stubborn stuff. I was chuffed to see it tackle my mascara without any stinging around my eyes, which is a rare find for me. What I really appreciate is how gentle it feels. It’s unscented, which is brilliant for my sensitive skin—no irritation or redness at all. After rinsing (it turns into a milky emulsion with water), my face feels clean, soft, and not a bit greasy, which I’d worried about with a balm. Plus, knowing it’s made with natural ingredients and comes in a jar partially made from recycled plastic makes me feel good about using it. It’s practical too—just a small dab does the trick, so the 80ml pot should last ages. If you’re after an effective, no-nonsense makeup remover that’s kind to your skin, I’d heartily recommend giving this a go!
